hello Patricia - I receive offers from so-called "end users" very often. Sometimes sales come to completion after an amount of effort. For obvious reasons I do not contact end-users unless the names are generic enough to ensure a potential sale. The majority of my portfolio consists of single word, dictionary com/net/org domains.
