What are your ideas for developing 3-number domains which have no meaning? (i.e. which are not area codes)

Would love to hear them.

I made a couple into paid directories - one does really well. I was going to use 020 as a "Everything from 0 - $20" store but never got around to it. And one day I'll make 327 into a site selling parts/whole chevy 327 engines.

what about phone number based directories of keyworded services?

Most 2 and 3 number combinations have some established meaning - you just have to look for them or be creative. Numbers are easily memorable.

They are inherently brandable anyway.

Take a NNN.com

Make a blog or forum of it; e.g. 679.com becomes 'Room 679' etc.

It's up to you but it takes effort.
