I got some without a '4' on purpose because it's a bad number in China.

Got some that ended in specific last two digits for personal reasons, like day of birth (didn't care what first three digits were).

Got some with first three digits that are high population area codes (514, 416, etc), didn't care about last two digits.

Hey, there were so many available at the time I had to decide somehow. The '4' being a bad number might be overrated, because outside China 4 is just another number to most people.

    Kuwaiti Postal Codes

Are 5-digits! These could be extremely valuable, good US postal code NNNNN.com's go for $x,xxx and Kuwait is one of the world's wealthiest countries. If you participated in the buyout, you may own some of these. I've posted a list here:

I have an update on the very "generous" Estibot appraisal here. But if anyone wants to make an offer on my portfolio at the $1.5million number, I'll take it under consideration .

All nnnnn.com are already backordered in most chinese registrars. 55135.com for example was grabbed by chinese registrar, and is being re-sold for mid 2 digits.

Tekz999, thanks for the update! Do you know why when I translate the Chinese forum it refers to "foreign rice farmers" eradicating the NNNNN.com's in the buyout. Is that a mistranslation or is there some cultural analogy I don't understand? Thanks.

I have a new post up analyzing how many NNNNN.com's are developed sites out of a random sample of 100 numbers.

Yes I know, Chinese mainlanders like to call domains as "米", which means "Rice" in english. Robotic translation is only 50% accurate
