    NNNNN.com zip codes

How do you guys find out which ones are zip codes and which are not. I mean it's easy to find if it is US zipcode or not, you just find a US zipcode checker.

I'm wondering if there's one for like a worldwide zip/postal code checker. Would Google map work?

It's wierd though, how can you tell if it's just an address or it's actually an zipcode.

    For example (36847)

    http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&q=3...-8&sa=N&tab=wl

Does this mean it's a zipcode in spain?

And also, if you input 05725 in google map for example, a lot of places shows up, but you when you run it in zip code checker it says it's not one. Meaning it's hard to tell if it's zip code or not in Google map. Or maybe someone can tell me how you can tell?

Not sure if anyone here posted this but there's a zip code domain auction at sedo ending in 3 hours:

    http://www.sedo.com/auction/auction_...ed=&partnerid=

I'm pretty sure the owner is a member here.

$175 at the time I posted this.

Go to google maps and type in the number and see what comes out, some numbers are postal codes in multiple places. Also, at my blog I have lists of foreign postal codes, and plan on putting some more up in the future, that you can check your numbers against.

A good way is just tyoe this in quotes into Google search: "NNNNN zip code" and look at the first group of results which will give you many clues it's a valid zip code. Another way it to go to http://www.city-data.com/zipDir.html

    1. Get the lists of US or Canada zip codes.
    2. Scan the lists by Domain scanning software.
    3. Register the domains available.
