there is a secondary market for numeric .cn domains, check some of the chinese domain websites.

I even get offers for some of my .IN numerics from Chinese sources.

Yes, or a combination of numbers and letters- shorter the better as usual. Get continual offers for L1.cn and some others but mainly letters and IDN.cn.

Be lucky to get any without forking out fairly big bucks though.
