I was not sure if i should put my credit card info out there like that. any advise or help would be apprecaited.

This looks like a pretty legitimate company. That being said - you must be extra-careful when doing business online.
I have had to provide this type of authentication in the past but not for domain purchases.
Most likely they are providing this to prevent fraud.
