Just say I had l02.com Would that be worth anything becouse of the digit?

Again its similar to the above, its worth reg fee if it means pretty much nothing.

That's why they have always been and always will be one of the most popular and easy to sell classes of domains in existence. IBM.com is much more memorable and easy to type than InternationalBusinessMachines.com. The fact that they are both rare and serve a very important purpose accounts for their high price.
