A well developed site with AdSense should allways be more profitable than parking.
a) Parking is not SEO friendly.
b) Parking companies keep part of the profit.
The main problem is that it takes quite some work to design a nice SEO friendly landing page with unique content.

Adsense is more profitable escpecially over the long run.
Why not use BOTH! Adsense AND parking.

The examples in that script lead to pages that ONLY display ads, something against the AdSense TOS.
One point to consider in all of this is that with Parking, you cannot pay for traffic to your site in hopes to drive click through revenue.
However, with Adsense, you have Adwords which allows you to pay for traffic to your site to drive click through traffic.
Of course, you HAVE to have a site, host it, have content, etc... you can't just have a site full of ads.
Hosting costs per month. Parking is free.
Bottom line... if you have one of those wonderful generics, you can park and not worry about it. If you don't, development, hosting, SEO, search listing, page ranking and all that will drive the traffic to you.
So look at your site, figure out what it actually CAN do in terms of type-in versus search traffic... and use whichever method fits your catagory.
Don't underestimate of the value of search traffic as opposed to type-in. It can be powerful and give non-generic sub six-figure domains a chance to compete up there in the stars.

also remember that it's possible to host thousands of domains for $36 a month (maybe lower)...
For thousands of domains you'd need a dedicated server.
Adsense vs parking... Is it right question? Adsense profit depends of niche. And you may make 0.02 for click or $2 for click. So, these are incomparable things, isn't it?
The space is not an issue. Sure, you can get an el cheapo account with 1 to 2 Gb of space and a high allocation of monthly bandwidth. But loading speeds, server response time and database queries would never match that of a dedicated server.
