afternic tips

I guess this could apply to sedo and others too,

If a listing you view on afternic says 'next bid will meet reserve' (ie. minimum bid will put it straight to auction) does this affect whether you would bid? is it better to set reserve as min bid or not?

i think if the BIN is set close enough to the minimum/reserve this should encourage a serious buyer to just buy it outright, but what is the psychology of the average buyer in that market?

any other tips or advice are welcome. thanks.
