Yea, and if you are talking about one specific listing on DNF that posted "anti sniping rules in effect" the person posted this should have been specific.

Will this be the last one minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes?
Not being specific would allow anyone to run an auction any way they feel like without anything to hold them to a specific time period.
Who knows, it may have been "within the last 24 hours" based on the outcome.
