Backordering question

What if i backorder at Snapnames or Pool, would i be refunded if i failed to get the name?

I beleive so there are some tutorials listed here in the newbie DNF if you would care to read them.

they do not charge you unless they catch a name, so there is nothing to refund.
if they catch it, and you are alone, you pay $60 for the name.
otherwise, you go to an auction.
when you sign up, they reserve your cc for a small amount just to make sure the cc is valid and you have funds, but that is returned typically in 3-5 days.
