Pay your taxes
Stop creating new words or word combinations there are thousands of variations of mad up phrases and most people can make up there own for reg fee, there are enough real word phrases available at reg fee that might get traffic.
Never send a domain to auction unless the reserve is the lowest price you are willing to accept

1. Don't buy into the hype when a new extension comes out (one new extension out of many may be worth some investment). 2. Don't handreg topical names like OsamaIsDead.com etc..thinking you can flip it quick here or anywhere, you just look foolish. 3. Stretch, go for long walks to lunch, drink lots of water/juice while sitting in front of your computer all day. A cold beer at night will keep you working.
