Cheers bud! I saw this .cc and got a little excited by their lowest figure of $5000 for a crappy generic on greatdomains, and the one i saw and almost bought was very good generic wise but the .cc was a bit of a dodgy one! I almost bought it!!!!! Lucky i didn't !!! I must admit though i am a little gutted anyway would have looked nice in my portfolio!Originally Posted by GT Web
From what I know of .cc's (I only own 1) they cannot be transferred between registrars (at least that is what RegFly told me when I attempted). I think your best bet with these is pushing between accounts at the same registrar or turning over the account to the new owner. I have been toying around with the thought of developing mine to see the respoinse it gets. I haven't seen many sales of them at all....Originally Posted by aggieuk

What about now?. 4 years after this thread was made.
Has .cc any value today?.
Why would .cc be worth anything, being a vanity extension with no local market ?
If they were somewhat valuable you would see reported sales in Dnjournal & sedo from time to time![]()
NameNewsletter.com - free lists of available domain names
ZoneFiles.net (beta) - ccTLD and gTLD droplists
If anything its lost value - new extensions marginalised ccTLD's trying to be gTLDs. Same with .ws. Only one so far to work at a gTLD is .tv.
