Cheapest way to buy 1000s of .com/nets?

I have a need to buy several thousand com/net domains per month. I'm curious if anyone has a better suggestion than the standard $7-ish registrars?

A better suggestion in terms of price? No.

Buying or hand regging a domain simply because it is available it not very profitable.

Doc- It is when you do arbitrage.
It seems like $7 is about as cheap as I can get, but I figured someone out there must offer some bulk pricing. Maybe not.

    Good luck with that.

Many search engines are slamming the door on that practice.

Arbitrage is dead and PPC is getting there. Invest in quality domains with traffic instead.

Its always funny when I hear that. I'm sure lots of people think AdWare, Bulk Email and CPV are all dead now too? Domain flipping seems dead to me, but obviously some people out there have figured out all the tricks to make it still work, and the people who have survived do pretty well.

Me too, and I believe I was one of the highest-volume flippers around. The bottom dropped completely out of that game a couple years ago, at least at the price/quality level where I was operating.

i agree with doc com, that only certain hand regs can be flipped , developed, or whatever.

just do a lot of research, make sure these domains are good for you. I currently use NetFirms for $4.95 for a hand reg.

Try coupon CYBER495, or LOVE if the first doesnt work.

The only bad thing about NF, is that they dont have a bulk registration page like GD. But 50% savings can result in extra domains...

    several thousand hand regs, lol

You're not going to get a better deal registering names. The best you can do is post in the Names Wanted looking for domains for under that. You'll end up with names with less than a year of reg, but if you honestly just want domains for cheap regardless of their quality, that's the only other way you can go.

That or instead go after .info domains which are cheaper.

Become a registrar, then you'll save a few cents per reg.

I suppose if you are going to register all domain names in bulk you need to contact your domain name registrar and ask what would be the best price they can do for bulk domain name registration.
