    domain histories?

Hello all... I wanted to know if there is a way to find out a domain names history like when it expired and came back on the market and if there is any existing traffic to it? Can anyone direct me to the place? Thanks!

    Whois History

    http://www.domaintools.com

You're gonna need to sign up for a free membership in order to use domain name whois history.

Only real way to tell if a domain name has had traffic is to contact the owner directly. URLTrends can be useful to find links in the various search engines, PR, and Alexa rank.

You are correct. No previous searches, no history.

    Re: domain histories?

I think that domaintools and whois.sc needs one to be a paid member to access the domain ownership history...

What if the domain name didnt have a website? in that case i think archive.org wont be much useful too....

Any other place where we can look up domain ownership history for free?
