i agree also if you add a word like best before widget. It well have more chances to come out in a search engine. Like if someone types best in search
you'll see bestwidgets same with the word widgets.

just be careful if widgets is a TM. You could get the domain yanked from you depending on the company

I guess what y'all are saying is that a single keyword --not a TM, by the way-- with a bad extension (widgets.cc) isn't as desirable for optimization as a keyword attached to a non-keyword.com (BestWidgets.com)?
