Hi, everybody. I was thinking about setting up a site that'd have a forum and free classifieds relating to a particular industry/field in a particular geographical area (not domaining, btw, I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes here), but I don't know how I'd handle all of the user-generated content.
More specifically, I was thinking that I'd need to be able to maintain a database of registered users and I'd need to find ways to minimize spamming.
I'm a total noob when it comes to any serious programming so I'd need something off the shelf to help, but all of the noob-oriented things I've heard of so far are only meant for a person who wants to do a blog of some sort. I'd appreciate any suggestions or thoughts you have on this idea.
