If someone wants to work seriously with domain names, what are the must have tools of the trade ?(i have reseller Hosting acounts,~100 sites, one expired domain filter script)

What is a reasonable budget to start with(exclusive membership included).

It grately depends on what your wallet can allow you to spend. If you are a newbie, forget about spending thousants on domains, you are most likely to fail due to lack of experience. Whatever your budget is, for a start, don't spend over $1000 the first year. During that year, you will learn a lot by hanging out in the domain forums and gain knowledge from the more experienced users. A good advice is to keep track on domain sales (for example at dnjournal.com), this will help you get an idea of what domains are worth. A good value estimation will help you very much in the long run, if you are planning to spend a lot of $ in the future on domain names.
