Heyho - quick question
Hey just saying hello
just upgraded and wondering what a good or fair amount of visits a day/month a site should have to be worth anything?
Thanks

Hi
Welcome to DNForum
it depends on other variables, which include site content.
also depends on how you are monetizing the site.
ie: selling products directly or thru affiliates
you also have to include the cost of developing the site when valuating.

still almost the same scenerio
a domain can get 2 visitors per day and make "X" amount of dollars.
again it depends on the domain and where the visitors are coming from and what they are looking for.
some names can get 100 visitors a day and don't make a dime in parking revenue.

Re: Heyho - quick question
It depends again... namely on the domain's conversion rate / on the traffic's quality.
The more clicks a domain can generate the higher is its value. So a domain with only 5 unique visitors per day can already be worth a good amount of money if these visitors generate revenue on a daily basis.
Especially type-in traffic is valuable while link traffic sometimes is low quality traffic, because type-in traffic converts best in my experience.
So it is really difficult to say what amount of uniques a domain needs to be worth anything. Traffic is always worth something and the more traffic your domain receives the higher is its value.
For instance, a domain that receives 100 targeted uniques per day, has a CTR (click through ratio) let's say 5% and generates $1 a day is probably worth $x,xxx when selling it to an end user or investor.
On the other hand, a domain that receives 1,000 uniques a day might only be worth $xxx or less if the domain's traffic does not convert well (i.e. the CTR is <1% or the CPC is very low).
I hope this helps...

Re: Heyho - quick question
Please click on "Store" in the navigation bar at the top of each page to get more information on what you can buy with your F$.
I am not so sure about the Platinum / Exclusive membership prices though. The conversion rate for DNF's currency is 1 US$ = 0.01 F$, however. So you can calculate how much you need to be able to upgrade to an upper membership level.
Enjoy!

I belive it should be 1 f$ = .01 us$. If 1 US$ = 0.01 F$ i will be a very rich man

You're right, of course. Thanks for correcting me.
