I guess, in the new posts they have two areas - one for 'tags' and one for 'trackbacks'.
Are the signatures separate?
Did you use the 'link BB code' for your link and what format do you write it in?
Thanks

Ok, I think you are talking about trackback links after blogs?
On word press, for example, after each post is written there is a check-box "permit trackbacks" that allows trackbacks to be shown.
Trackback is basically a XML request on a given URL provided by blog software. By this request blog software is notified that some other blog is writing about him. From other side (blog that sends request) it is done automaticaly if apropriate setting is set in the Wrord Press "settings" page.
Here I found useful explanation: http://www.dnforum.com/misc.php?do=linkbacks

Thanks much for all of the info you provided!
What format did you write in the 'trackbacks' field for you to be able to display 'Domain Name Statistics' and then have it go to the URL that it goes to?
Thanks
Anyone else knows how that is done?
Thanks

This is my signature. I really don't understand you question?
Cool, I didn't know it was your signature.
I am still wondering exactly what to type in on a 'trackback' so that it just displays what I want it to say something like 'here are more like DNs for sale' that they can click on and will take the person to dnstoXX.org where I have my DNs for sale, I already have a link from my website to DNForum to my XXXermiling.org DN for sale thread. I would like to link all of the DNs I have for sale on my website to the DN sale threads here on DNForum.
Thanks forward for any help!
I just started learning html & CSS aprox a month ago and I am just now getting into this aspect of DNForum usage.
Please anyone?
I think some are missing the point of what trackbacks are.
It's for when you post a forum thread about a blog post.
For example, if I started a thread to discuss the latest article on the Wordpress blog:
http://wordpress.org/development/2009/05/ideas/
I would go to the bottom of the post and look for the 'Trackback URI', which for the above post is:
http://wordpress.org/development/200...eas/trackback/
That will then ping the blog that if refers (see the bottom of the post for the pings: http://wordpress.org/development/200...deas/#comments ) so the blog author and other readers know there's a discussion here too.
Unless some security setting has been changed, the trackback field should contain a standard unformatted URL.

Thanks for your clarification on what the 'trackbacks' are intended for and your information!
