just out of curiosity......

when you "read" a domain name- you say dot com, or dot org in your head right? you dont say dot "c" "o" "m".

now, with .us, which way do you "read" it- not say it:

help dot "u" "s" or
help us

just wondering

Re: just out of curiosity......

no, i mean- i know how you are supposed to say it
i am just wondering how many people, when reading it, tend to say it like they were saying the word us-
like sometimes when i see a .us domain, but it is a certain word- not a noun, i read it as us, not dot "you es"
like if the word was help- i read at first "help us"
i was just wondering if other people did that.

Re: just out of curiosity......

no they don't , simply because 99% know the extension is associated with the U.S. , so thats what they would say it as , even in their head, , dot "you es"
