    letter-letter-letter

    can you help me understand-
i know that for brandability purposes, you should not use hyphens- and hyphens between words is bad enough- but what about between letters?
i thought i read that search engines don't see them, or something like that. like i took my word, letter-letter-letter-letter, and put it into google with the quotes- and the same amount of pages came up as without the hyphens.
is it sucky for branding, but ok for search engine placement?

I suppose it would be ok for seo , but the domain itself would be worthless unless it was developed with traffic.

so- if someone was able to get a site like- example: s-e-x.com, would you say go for it?
if they developed it, would they enjoy the bebnfits of how the word "s*x" itself ranks in the search engines- even with the hyphens?

No. An hyphen indicates a blank space for Google.

    Re: letter-letter-letter

ok- not sure what that means- when i search love, i get 66,700,000
and when i search l-o-v-e i get the same exact results- wouldnt it be different if google thought it was searching for a different word?

actually, the only time i get less results is if i do "lo-ve"

    Re: letter-letter-letter

Do the inverse exercise: Try searching for love and obtaining results with l-o-v-e.

That is, try to locate this post in DNF when indexed searching for s-e-x (without hyphens).
