I would say definitely yes if it's a .com, and probably yes for some other TLD's, however, you should definitely find out the reason for lack of ads; and see if potentially similar words have ads.

There are tons of words with high search engine counts that never get any traffic because, quite frankly, no one is searching for it or advertising with it.
I own a couple local geo names which get high Google and a little traffic, but since the businesses here don't use Adsense or similar, revenue is truly minimal since there are so few relevant advertisers.
BackAlley.com Backhole.com BlackAfricans.com BrownWomen.com Breathers.com & More!
If you have to explain what your domain name means, give up, it's a crappy name!
Thanks for all the answers guys.
I have just one more question. So in most cases, a word with a lot of google hits but no ads on the right side isn't the best choice for a domain...for parked pages, right? What if I developed a site myself using this one-word domain and had Adsense on my page? Could this be profitable then? I think I might be a bit confused on this subject. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks again
Here is an example -
highland park - 9,720,000 http://www.google.co.il/search?hl=iw...d+park&spell=1
I am showing no ads, but the name is definitely worth a lot. It can be developed to get lots of ads as well.
