is this matter ok with them

i received an offer to a domain from the buydomains.com company (namemedia.com) from the owners - there is a section there saying sell us your domains -
but they need from me to transfer the domain first before paying for the domain, but i used to receive the payment first & after i receive the money i transfer the domains or just give the usernames & passwords for the domains here in selling via forums
so i need experts help for this, i need help from other users that sold them their domains
thanks

never transfer a domain without payment.

if this is really namemedia, kindly ask them to phone you.

acro is right, ask for their phone number, and call them.

express your concern that there is no formal escrow process, and see what they say.
do this especially if you do not have something in writing

That is what happens with BuyDomains - you transfer them the domain and then when they are all successful they send payment. It is totally legit but make sure it is really them who you are dealing with!

this is only allowed because sellers are yielding to this buyer.

under no circumstances would I transfer a domain, before I get payment or confirmation of payment thru a marketplace.

i sure they wouldn't transfer you a domain first, then wait for you to send payment later.

With a buyer, yes. As a company I would make an exception.

thank you all for your replys, but now i became confused some said not to do so but others said that matter is OK with them
so to be specific to take my decision:
"has anyone here in dnf as a seller SOLD domains to the company itself buydomains.com(namemedia.com)"?

REAL SIMPLE SOLUTION:
Since it is the first transaction, request to use escrow.com as the intermediary and split the fees.
Pretty much 100% secure for both parties.
