cheers
Hi bazc2vtr,
- means cancel the registration
- cause "google" is a trademark
...and it isn´t the best idea to use trademarks in your dn`s![]()
ohh got ya, thank you.
so i cant even put it up for auction to get rid?
cheers
baz
Huge TM issue.
Value indeed starts at $1500 and higher. We are talking about your lawyer fees.
NameNewsletter.com - free lists of available domain names
ZoneFiles.net (beta) - ccTLD and gTLD droplists
thank you for the MASSIVE HELP lol and keeping me out of trouble....
how come it was for sale in the first place?
so to confirm it is useless to me?
I hope you didn't pay more than regfee for it.

ZoneFiles.net (beta) - ccTLD and gTLD droplists
no just the reg fee.
can someone answer the question then....if i put it up for sale am i breaching tm?
I would avoid everything that could look like you want to make money out of a TM-domain.
It´s not worth the risk.
It is a TM (already established) but trying to sell it is even worse. Trying to sell it would show Google that you are trying to profit off of their own name.
Just owning it runs the risk of having a WIPO and lawsuit filed against you by Google (and they can sue you for "damages" including legal fees if they really want to).
Go to your registrar and delete it, if you can't, call their customer support and have them delete it.

ok i will do that straight away, thank you.
how come it was for sale in the first place?
Someone else doesn't care about TM nor did they care about getting in trouble.

bazc2vtr , Before you buy any more domains you need to understand the basic fundamentals of the entire domain process. I.e what makes a domain valuable, how to add value to domains, which domains to buy. niche markets, seo, Trademarks, etc if you skip these basics Like I did you will burn money faster than Tyson did. Also you need to decide what you really want to do for example I buy and sell domains, flipping websites not my forte but sometimes develop websites in an attempt to add value to my stock. If you think this is a get rich scheme you will be very disappointed, If you also think you can register a domain in a few days for $20 and flip it next day for a $1000 then you will be also disappointed. Anyway wish you well.
