New to Domain-ing; looking for suggestions

I own about 50 new domains that don't have a lot of traffic. Some domains are common searchable words and others are adult, etc.

How does a domainer get started? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

Depends what your goals are, budget allows etc.

Until you know what you want to gain and how to do it stop registering names lol

When I first started I spent $800, all dropped next year at renewal time. Set out a plan, read and ask questions galore

PM me if you need any help or answers. Josh

See what your traffic analysis tells you. That's the starting point.

If you do this (stated above) as a religion, you will find nirvana. Then again, domain picking is also an art as it is stats and metrics.

Also take some educated and manaeable risks.

    All the best to you.

    Worth repeating.

As for book - 99.999% of the books out there are a waste of money (yeah, do you know how they made millions in domaining? By selling books on domaining!). Plus, 99% of the information in books is available here for free.

I would recommend, though the book "The Domain Game" by David Kesmodel. No, it won't teach you how to make a million but it is a good read.

Just remember this - you WILL make mistakes and they can be costly. Don't let it break your spirit (I must have registered well over 200 domains that I now consider junk and ended up dropping). Concentrate on a few quality names as opposed to several "eh" domains. Now, I'd rather spend $100 on a good domain than $100 on 10-15 hand reges (plus just think how much it'll save me in renewals).

The domain game…this book is more educational. I recommend it to you if you want to know how everything started and developed. In order to understand the present and see the future, we need to understand the past (what philosopher I am!!!)

I agree with draggar 110%. Quality over quantity

That's a good start. Try to locate common business domains, very pure highly searched biz keywords with abundant advertisers listed in a Google search.
