The Sales Process

Hi All,

As I'm new to things here, I was wondering whether anyone could walk me through a typical sales process, with special emphasis on receiving payment and transferring/ pushing domains? Any recommendations would be much appreciated also.

Hi

get the money first

then transfer to buyer


getting the money is most important

make sure if it's an unknown buyer that you get the funds thru an escrow provider
or have them wire it

once you have the cash, then you can push the domain to their account (if the buyer has an account at the same registrar or is willing to get one there) and/or have the buyer initiate a transfer to the registrar of choice.

Thanks for responding. If I do need to transfer to another registrar, is it difficult for the buyer to start off the transfer process? Just in case, I get anyone new to the game like me.
