Country: | Seems like a basic question but.... I got an offer for one of my domains. it's at Godaddy but they don't have a hosting account there, but they intend to. Is it better to send the code and then they start their new godaddy account, or should they have one already? What is the transfer cost, to me or them?

Country: | Have them provide you with their user name and email, then click on the domain name, click "account change" and follow the on screen instructions....after you receive payment of course. |

Country: | got payment, I just emailed them the auth code. I think they can figure out the hosting plan. Thanks Rocky, I tried to do it thataway but they had no existing account. Godaddy hosting checkout are screens simple easy peasy, no? (crack of laughter).

Country: | They don't need a hosting account to get the domain, just (as Johnn & Rock said & therunner agreed) - create a free account with them. If they have a different host, they can just point the DNS to their current host.
