Thanks for the tools.. I love that advertiser checker... 17 for credit...nice! wish I had this before buying 40 domains lol
As far as what I'm trying to do.. it's not working.. I think the typo tracker is out of commission at estibot..
I just want to see how many people typed in.....vretmichaels.com, huhghefner.com, etc.

Tom
Hi
Despite the links or sites posted, there is NO tool that will let you check typo traffic before you buy.
If any site or tool makes this claim, then they are misleading you.
The only way to know if a domain gets traffic is to register it.
Now some of these tools or sites may give you a "guess-ti-mation" based on "outdated" overture results from 2007.
Some will give you link results and or alexa ratings and google results and wordtracker results, but these do not tell you if a domain gets traffic.
They can only tell you how many times a "term" or word has been searched.
You will have to learn how to analyze this data to make the best decision on what domains to register.

ok.. thanks for the info.. have a lot of options now..
You can register a name at Moniker for example and "taste" or test to see if it gets traffic. I'm not sure if it's a really good & adequate amount of time but you can delete the domain name after 4 days. It costs between $1.00 to .50 cents give or take. You can talk to your rep there and ask them to reduce the price for you. That's another option for you. I've done it a few times and it works fine and that way you don't have to hold on to the name or pay the full registration costs.
The "Typo Generator" on DomainTools.com is pretty useful.
