Trademark issues when you park?

If i own hockey players.coms from the National Hockey league such as "getzlaf.com", can I use the players' team logo on my parked page?

All comments are appreciated

Stay away from placing logos on a parked page. From what you described, the player doesn't have a case unless you have nothing but NHL or hockey ads on the parked page. Check out Terrell Owens WIPO Case...this might shed some light.

Could you print that logo on shirts and sell them? Could you make it a part of your business logo and print it on your letterhead? In short, do you have the right to use a team's property in a profit-seeking way? (Hint - I don't think so.)

*Disclaimer: I only attended law school for a week and a half, and I don't know everything.
