    Transfers

    I am new to the DN business and have not done a transfer before,only pushs. How long would it take to transfer a domain from GoDaddy to namecheap?

    be careful to not change ANYTHING in the domain's contact info before doing the transfer. I updated an admin email to facilitate a transfer from GoDaddy, and they forced a 60 day waiting period on me.

    yes, there is no real guarantee...
    it really depends on BOTH registrars, but the weight is usually on the losing registrar.

    On my end, I have never had any problems. It seems to take about 5 day for a transfer.
