Dear members,

I'm looking to design my website myself, but there seems to be to many
webhosting services and site builder softwares?

Things that are important to me is:
1-Strong marketing tools and serivces offered for pormoting my site
2-Online shopping cart and various payment options
3-Rich database tools like Mysql, MS access,...
4-Large Disk space, bandwidth
5-professional site building software (i don't mind going for a software indepandance from my webhost, for having better edge)
6-LARGE WEBHOST COMPANY WITH STABILITY in domain business

DomainSponsor.com is a webhost? News to me....

technically speaking, yes...because it does host all those domains (physically)

the results are pulled from the zone files, when matched up side by side with the dns servers....... that site is very helpful for this kind of stuff.

Most of those on that list are terrible for hosting. Out of those I believe 1and1.com is a real host with strong usage.

The reason that some of those are listed as 'hosts' is because they DNS for lots of domains but you can't go and setup mysql or ftp with many of them.

I was using dailywebhost.com - terrible

I've switched to hostgator.com (mentioned above) and it's much better.

Hostgator have competent telephone support. Dailywebhost.com had no phone support and that was very frustrating with all the problems I had with them.

I am using PDQNETWORKS. I am completely satisfied with their services, they offer email and 24/7 online (SKYPE) support. I am using a hosting plan with unlimited bandwidth and unlimited disk space and all that for just $9.99/year.

Thanks to everyone for trying to help, but seems i just got many different recommandations only, which adding to my confustion

Hostgator seems good, is their site builder has professional tools and can i freely host the same designed website to another comapnies like yahoo, register,...?

Company stability like yahoo as example (not going out of business) also very
important to me

If I was in the market for a "big" web host, I would look at one of the following. Don't base it off of only one recommendation. Read reviews on web hosting forums and on WHReviews.com

hostgator seems very good, but I check with hostgator online chat support, they said their site builder is web-based and shifting the designed site to another host will be difficult, hum?

I usually don't trust mushroom like grown site, can someone recommand me what's better than yahoo hosting, among bigger hosting companies with professional site builder, that is shiftable?

I think i will go with "Yahoo hosting" they have all what i wanted, they have made lot of changes (3rd party tools and marketing) since last 2 months i checked them.

Hostgator, not for me, their Cpanel is web-based, and you can't take your web contents away from them easily
