What do these numbers tell me and how important are they to me

I own a number of domain names and am now just learning how to sell them.

Using google let's say I enter in one of my domain names (these are not one word domain names), what do the following google results mean / tell me and how important are they to me.

    I Type my domain name:

Directly into the address bar = x number of results (not using .com) as the website does not exist and I'm not looking to develop it.

Search engine with no spaces = x number of results.

Search engine with spaces = x number of results.

Search engine with quotes no spaces = x number of results.

Search engine with out quotes with spaces = x number of results.

If I may please ask a second question?.

I purchased two domain names (non trade marked) that I want to direct market two a particular company these websites will be the most desirable .com (three word) in their global field of business SOON.

Since I'm a newb how do I go about offering for sale these websites in such a manner that I protect myself from any legal claims (do to my ignorance) so they are not wrestled away from me.

I'm very open to a beneficial arrangement with a seasoned broker as well.

    -DJ.

    Google results mean nothing.

You protect yourself from legal claim by making sure there is no trademark or other legal issues.

You contact company to see if they are interested in purchasing your domains or websites, but if you only have one company in mind, better think twice.

Check TESS number one for all words in phrases.

A good start for self protection.

Use the keyword tool to research search volume:
    https://adwords.google.com/o/Targeti...=KEYWORD_IDEAS
Nothing to do with Google search results.

But search volume alone does not make a domain valuable. It's a bit of data among others.
