Not much you can do imo - .fr is the French extension. French for calculator is calculette or calculatrice. The French wouldn't use the word calculator.
If you had calculez.fr (Imperative), that would be worth developing, but not calculator.fr

Thanks for the response Jilo. France does have 45mil internet users. This domain has 5900 exact keyword searches pm so gets traffic.
Perhaps I will just sell it off then. Enjoy whats left of Friday.
They may have 45 million internet users, but the vast majority will not type in {english word}.fr. They'll either type {english word}.com or {french word}.fr
Let it drop.
I would let it expire.
Don't just let it drop at least try to auction it off :/
Just going to hold onto it. Wont do much with it though. Will see what comes over the next few years.
Drop.
Are you even eligible to own a .fr domain BTW ?
NameNewsletter.com - free lists of available domain names
ZoneFiles.net (beta) - ccTLD and gTLD droplists
Not going to drop. My own choice.
Of course I am eligible, why would I have registered it then ?
Advantages of having dual citizenship, passports and EU residency.
How much traffic do you get?
If "development" takes any time; if it's more than just a parking page, I would put up for sale. I would guess that in addition to being a second-tier name to the French words, it's second to the plural (people search for calculaorS in general if they are looking to buy), and I would guess that there are plenty of good calculator sites already. Even some blogger might pay a few hundred for it.
If you can afford some cheap Hosting and have reasonable minimal tech skills, set up one of the calculator type scripts... who knows, you may even get English traffic despite the .fr extension.
