It really depends on your market. But for forum related projects, .net is a good second choice, and if you factor in the sales and business, you won't leave out .biz, will you? I'd say for less than $15, get both.

Profoundly influenced by #Bauhaus, @Nameslave unrepentantly embraces #Minimalism in his #multimedia portfolio. His early works include an experimental adaptation of Chekhov’s Cherry Orchard inspired at least partly by Robert Fripp. His totally irrelevant M.Ed. dissertation examines Organizational Culture and Change Management.

Some Nice TLD Ending Info here --> http://www.get-a-dot.com/dns-tlds.htm![]()
nice choice!
I also find .info to be a great extension for content related sites...you all know I own a bunch of them pertaining to animals (www.weasels.info , www.toucans.info etc) and I find sometimes .info is the perfect replacement for .com
Even though you've already bought a domain, I thought I'd comment.
I avoid .org domains unless they're definitely an organization - companies look completely wrong with a .org extension.
I stay away from everything but .com for my sites![]()

The problem with trying for .com for everything is that so many are taken, so you're going to have to be more and more creative about the domain names as time goes on.
Saying that, remember that you can always hyphenate the domains, so if you're hunting for a domain with multiple words, then think about separating them with hyphens if the domain you have is already taken.
