Someone talked about WhyPark.com on another forum and this is what I replied to him --
Hope it helps.WhyPark.com is just more or less of an autoblog. And worst part is that you can't flip it in after-market and would be leaving a huge footprint and duplicate content.
They charge $100 for 100 domains. Which in my opinion is more expensive than setting up your own autoblogs plus the negatives I mentioned above.
My advice is to get a content database, content spinner and autofeed the blogs rather than pay them -- and you can scale it up without more expenses plus you can flip it to others. You can also outsource and focus on creating higher quality sites. Sure they are more expensive than auto-blogs but excellent ROI.
I am Awesome!
I no nothing about setting up a wordpress site so I can't compare it against Whypark. I would like to know what you mean by the footprint that whypark leaves is this in relation to the duplicate content issue? or the belief that some people have that websites are being blacklisted by google if they us Whypark?
I would also like to know about footprint.
Yes it's somewhat similar to an auto-blog site, but
1. You get the Hosting for free,
2. You get full articles, which you usually don't get with autoblogs.
3. It's a little simpler setting up than auto-blogs as well, which may use loads of resources.
The basic advantages over parking are:
1. You can freely advertise, generate traffic, etc.
2. You can add your text links, and other ads as well.
Negative issues. recently Google has punished many of their sites, and removed ads.
For a while I was actually getting quite reasonable traffic on some of them, until the traffic started settling down.
All sites to the best of my knowledge are still indexed by Google though, and almost all my aut-blogs have been removed.
I personally don't think $100 is a lot of money for the service.
They now have their own add service as well.
Parking domains with no traffic is a waste of time. The other options are standard development, which takes time and/or money, or autoblogging, which I mentioned previously, or mini-ppc sites, which takes a little amount of time or money.
The question is what should someone do with no traffic domains, or with traffic domains, not generating income using standard parking.

Hey, i just found this recent article about WhyPark:

WhyPark Lands $230k Angel Investment

Domain name parking alternative gets funding, announces new ad network.

Auto-generated web site company WhyPark, which provides an alternative to standard domain parking, has received an infusion of angel funding from one of its customers. Domain Name Wire has learned that the investment totals $230,000 and will be used to further enhance WhyPark’s service.
[For those not familiar with angel funding, it typically represents investments by high net worth individuals and is less than what venture capital companies usually commit.]
One of WhyPark’s first customers, Alan Macomber, made the investment. WhyPark currently has 41,000 domains hosted on its system.
Separately, the company announced that it now has an integrated ad network. Previously, customers had to use their own Google Adsense or similar code to generate revenue from domains at WhyPark. WhyPark also inked a deal with Austin-based Click Forensics to ensure the integrity of its advertising network. I’m not aware of any other domain-related company that has signed a similar deal to cut down on click fraud.
