Bellingham is one of the most beautiful small cities in the NW region. Several magazines have voted it the top place to live in the country.
Scheduled to be a couple of laid back, low-key gettogethers for domainers of every shape and size. A great time to kick, back, have some fun, meet some old friends and make some new ones. There will be presentations. ALL ARE INVITED!

Where's this taking place?
It's not final yet.
While there are numerous hotels in town B'ham only has a handful of decent meeting venues. I have to make a decision on the space very, very soon.
The choices are these:
http://www.hotelbellwether.com/
rooms and suites from $139
http://www.thechrysalisinn.com/
rooms and suites from $175
http://www.silverreefcasino.com/hotel.htm
rooms and suites from $109
http://www.bellingham-hotel.com/
rooms and suites from $99
Appreciate any comments.

Being I live three minutes from the border and a further half hour from Bellingham I'll be keeping an eye on this. Barring a bad border line-up I can get there quicker than I can get to the office!
Thanks!

The hotel is settled for both dates!
Its going to be at The Chrysalis, arguably the best place in town. Very nice place, highly refined but not at all "stuffy". Real friendly folk running things and just a fantastic vibe. Oh, did I mention its directly on the Bay? So you know the view is awesome!

I negotiated special rates for those staying a day or more.
Side view rooms are $144
Full view are $155
Includes Free Parking, Spa use, WiFi and a Full Breakfast
To get these rates you must call Doreen at 360-392-5504 ASAP as we only have a handful of rooms blocked. We might be able to get more if the response is overwhelming but the sooner you act the better!

This part of the region got hit with a snowstorm yesterday. I got a little over 2 feet at my place and most of the city is still shutdown. Unfortunately the forecast calls for more like this in a couple days.
Given the likelyhood that the area will be shut down by weather I'm going to go ahead and cancel the Fest scheduled for 11/30-12-1. Everything is still on for the 17th though.
I'll still be in town on Thursday night in case anyone wants to brave it but there won't be a meeting room or speakers or anything. Just dinner and a show.

Is there an agenda or start time for the 17th?

No. It looks like its scaled back to just a "Domainer Dinner".
If anyone's in town are on their way just drop me a line and we'll hook up.
Bellingham didn't get hit too hard in the recent storm but I hear that there are a lot of folks still w/o power. I imagine a lot of people are just trying to clean up. This was a big one. 4 or 5 people died, 1.5 Million were without power for at least a day or more. Massive flooding. When I got back home I found damage around my place was minimal. The wind must have torn the screendoor off and knocked down an old semi-dilapidated greenhouse but thats about all.
