This is HUGE for them, it proves that silent is a great place where buyer's are willing to step up to the plate for quality names. Here's my suggestion to Monte and the auction committee: I understand they are raising the fee to 20%
I suggest raising live to 20% but lowering silent to 10%
Give a nice incentive to the guys willing to take a chance!

Today was a very busy day...1st you get the Great Domain's Auction, 2nd you get the action of all the drop auctions, 3rd you get the finale with the Moniker Silent Auction. Felt like I just got done running a maraton at 2pm PST.

Probably. The 10% policy prevented me from making at least one bid. However, on the domains I had already bid on, I was glad that other bidders couldn't just outbid me by $1 - that 10% probably stopped me from losing a domain or two.

I really do not understand their selection process at all.

I had two names in the silent auction (in the top 5 sales), which should have been in the live auction for more exposure....would have been better for Moniker as well as me.
