Anyway, does anyone have the list of domains being considered for Monikers domain auction at Internext? As it is now, you have pay admission ($300) to get the passcode to access the page.....Thanks!

only about 80 names I checked last time are chosen so far on that list..
I believe there may be as much as 250 names chosen..
I heard from a friend that he was told that the final list may be available this coming Sunday, or Monday..
Jan 7h or 8th..

It's funny, I posted that list of names that ism and I Quote "available at the Live Auction" on another thread that Monty himself was participating in... to which he replied, and again I quote:
"The list above is not the definite list of chosen names for the live auction. they are some of the premium names being considered. There has not been a final live auction list selected yet and there has not been a final silent auction list selected." - Monte Cahn
Looking at the list, I cannot imaging them NOT being in the final cut but even so, there seems to be some bar to which they are holding domains. These are the "teasers", I understand, to get people in the doors... I just hope it's not like alot of movies being advertised today. You know, where the best parts are in the ads.

For some reason the short list of domains for the live auction have now been removed from http://internext-expo.com/domainauction/
It was pulled the same day Internext ended advanced online registration..I agree with GOPC, it may of been a teaser list.

UPDATE: I just got an email from Albert saying the final list will be made public later this week on the Moniker website. There will be a total of 2K-3K names on the final list (for both live and silent auctions) and the auction will be broadcasted live on the internet.
He also mentioned:
"The biggest factor in determining which names make it will be how their owners have priced them relative to our estimation of a realistic and favorable auction reserve price."
"Anyone wishing to place a proxy bid on one or more names can do for a $99 fee. Please let me know if you are interested."
"The next Moniker adult-oriented auction will be at the second and final Internext show of the year, this time in August at the Westin Hotel in Hollywood, Fl."

Let me see if I have this right. Surely I can't be this confused.
Of the 10,000+ names submitted, 2000-3000 will be placed in Live Auction or whatever the heck "silent" auction is.
Live auction was listed as having approximately 250 domains. So of the original 10,000 submitted, a paltry 2.5% will make it to Live auction.
But buyers aren't coming to Internext to buy Adult domains, and even with a live web broadcast (first I've heard of this), unless you are registered for Internext, you cannot buy or bid.
So does this mean the proxy of $99 is to have someone who paid the $300 and is attending Internext to make a bid for you on the list non-attendees can't see??
