Snicksnack i disagree .co names are not looked at as just spanish domains, they are totally brandable it stands for company i believe in them thats why i have offerd xx,xxx for top .co names on sedo and my bids have been rejected also i sold a .co for x,xxx. They are selling for really good cash because people are looking at them as very brandable. I did not believe in .mobi because at the time the iphone could display full webpages, people was claiming .mobi names was a tool for mobile phones what a load of crap these new phones now are just like personal computers lots of them now can display full webpages.

You are a good sport for not taking my post as a personal attack. I will tell you though that there is nobody dumb enough on the planet to spend 44.5K and 43K for the names you listed above. Whatever those so-called sales represent, they do not represent legitimate arm's length transactions. For it to be a legitimate arm's length transaction someone has to be sitting around one day with 87.5K in their checking account and then honestly decide they would rather have DuiAttorney.co and DuiLawyer.co than the 87.5k.

Every single time I see these headscratcher sales it always turns out to be some part of a pump and dump. One day I may be wrong, but I only call out the obvious bullshit sales. The person or entity or has the two names you listed has a relatively cheap page set up, and it just didn't happen the way you want to believe it did. I assume they also have the plural DuiAttorneys.co, since it is the same page.

The .co extention is DUMB and the names will be rendered worthless in due time. I will bump the threads in a few years as history repeats itself. No serious person would spend a lot of money to brand a .co name. That would be insanity. A great majority of the people who would see a name like Beer.co listed in an advertisement would automatically think it was meant to be .com. It almost has to be a failed extention by definition, since there is no real way to get serious end-user traction, and without that you are left with speculation and pump and dump.

Those who think it is honorable to traffic in these names have the right to do so, but just remember, there are people watching, and the lines are starting to get crossed already and the intelligence of those who understand what is going on continues to be insulted. I would never trust any sale price mentioned for a .co name. Not a single one. I do not care who is involved.

The person who allegedly bought Sportsbook.mobi paid over 125K, at least that is what everyone said back in the day, and the pumpers ran with that and tried to sell other names based on this lie and fraud that never happened. Those involved know that nothing will happen to them, so they don't even have the decency to update the page.

I was bidding $400 to buy DayTrading.co, it was sold for $1,000. I didn't feel comfortable to pay that much. Still, I believe that there is some future
to .co extension. I think it is kind of natural extension that we didn't see for a long time. .TV is natural, kind of for a tv station, biz was supposedly
natural replacement for .com, but it didn't happen this way. I think .co has a good change, but only to complement .com, will never be that valuable.

Guys thats your opinions so far i have made a lot of cash with the .co names so im happy also i sold one to a end user who contacted me. All's i can say is i wish i regged a lot more when they first got released but right now theirs nothing good left. The Latona’s T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Miami extended auction list is now live and open for bidding.

Here’s a list of the names. It’s a long one and the Latona’s bid system is setup for the starting bid to be the starting price so I didn’t clutter this with reserve ranges. Just go to Latona’s and search for the name for the prices.

Many of you will most likely comment on the fact that there are so many .co names in the auction. That’s because so many of them were submitted to us. The reserves are low on them so if you are in the market it could be a feeding frenzy for you.

It’s worth noting that there is 1 minute between each lot closing. The auction begins to close at 12:00 pm (noon) EST on October 28th and will take some time. There are 768 lots so it’ll take 12.8 hours for the auction to close. In other words, if you really want one of these names, you should use the proxy bidding feature so you don’t lose it because you were sleeping.

Normally our auctions on Latona’s close at 6 pm but this is a special case since there are so many lots so we moved it up 6 hours. Please don’t forget that it begins to close at 12 NOON on October 28th. That’s 18:00 for central Europe or 9 am for west coast Americans.

The flaw in your thinking is that you trust the listed prices at the landrush auction to be true "arms length" transactions. Everyone could be a multi-millionaire if you could just grab DivorceAttorneys.co for $30 and sell it for 5k.......that sure would be nice. Most people are basing their valuations on totally fraudulent alleged sales.

Flowers.mobi allegedly was bought by the Domain King a few years ago for 200K or so. It sold today for 7.5k. If you think that 200K changed hands on the first auction in a regular transaction then you also probably believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. The King either was trying to scam the 1800 Flowers guy by bidding him up (knowing he didn't have to pay), or he was trying to hype other .mobi's by establishing a huge price for a name that really shouldn't be worth crap (remember all of the idiotic threads at Flowers.mobi, Pizza.mobi, etc.....everyone huffing and puffing and missing the main point, and that is that .mobi was irrelevant and not needed). He created some serious buzz and now the game is over, so it went to auction with a reserve of just a few hundred I believe.

I am a fan of his.....other than his dabbling in garbage at his Traffic events.

No fan here.
