foreign

Question:

someone wants to buy one of my domains but they are in Australia.
Since the rules are that .ca are basically canadian resident or business, I will probably need to sign an agreement between me and the buyer. Has anyone done this ? is there anyone that can show me a sample agreement if so ??

thanks

Re: foreign

If the buyer has Canadian citizenship but resides abroad it is OK.
Perhaps you could ask them to clarify their eligibility status.

Re: foreign

do you mean that the buyer will own the domain but you will continue holding it in your account? what kind of agreement are you thinking of? If they are planning on buying more .ca, they should just create some kind of business entity in Canada that is eligible.

Re: foreign

I say take the cash, transfer the domain and get them to deal with this. Maybe you should let them know about Cira and a link to the rules.
