If you have followed this thread you will understand why i feel kinda lucky for finding my newest domain name, a fresh drop.. I dont know how i got it..
.org, .biz, and of coarse .com is taken but i found

Well if you own it now, you own it now but if you do actually build an empire on it and therefore a brand you will losse traffic to the .com and when you try to buy it of them then they won't give it up cheap. I would try to buy the .com now (put your .net in private) or just find a whole new .com
