Interestingly, the lund(.in) is still being held by the Registry even after expiry date...
The Indian officials hold their precious lund tight![]()

Yes, frozen for eternity at registry level.
And India is not the only country that would do this.
For example, the US, I mean the land of the free, also invalidates certain domains based on the 7 dirty words rule.
Look at the whois record for f**kcensorship.us, a domain seized from a DNF member.
Looks like a case of Lund envy.
Let me get this straight, the people employed in the IN registry who interpret what is obscene and what is not, are suggesting they were all born using an obscene organ?
Wouldn't that make them at least 50% obscene?
Sounds more like theft than a violation of T&C.
WTF? those cant real.
Don't try this in India, folks.

I've always steered clear of the .in ccTLD even though India has a huge English speaking population that are connected.
After hearing about this that they can just seize domains for inappropriate content whenever they please without warning or fight, my lund is telling me not to add any to my portfolio.
Usually I always listen to my lund, and this case reinforces which organ to think with and act upon.![]()
Neustar (.us) is not different![]()
Don't they have .biz and .co (as a partnership) in their pocket too? Or are they just treating .US like this?
I like "f**kcensorship" in .us or .com -- or any cc/g/TLD for that matter if it would make sense for a free speech site against any cause as my 10th grade project for debate class was titled "F**k Censorship" (without the *'s) about the FCC and it got an A.
That domain would certainly not fly with .cn though and the owner would probably be sentenced to life in prison.![]()
