Any way to capitalize on Chinese traffic?

...Surely lots of members here know how to capitalize on Chinese traffic

The above was posted in a sales thread but since comments are not allowed there I started a new thread here and selected parked.com forum since Donnie contributes a lot of posts to the board and is very vocal.

I suspect the answer is a big NO, that no members here or at other boards really know how to do that.

It would be real nice and appreciated to get the insight of parking company reps on this ongoing issue since sooner or later many of us seem to end up with some domains like that.

Dopa.com has been a huge flop and waste of time for me. The control panel was not working, I could not access my domains, emails went unanswered for weeks. Emails were sent to Candy and customer service. Finally pulled them all.

Then I decided to try another service (do not recall the name). I had to submit my names for approval. It took so damn long to get an approval that I totally forgot all about them (at least two weeks).

When I logged into my account and checked the domain names, every one of them were directed to sedo landing pages! WTF?

I suspect this parking service was testing my names ("tasting") before contacting me. So I have no idea how much money they were making off of me.

And why in the hell would I want another middle man in between me and a middle man? Makes no sense at all. So I pulled all of those.

So if you get a suitable and adequate answer, I would be interested...maybe.

My overall opinion of parking companies at the moment...they all suck.

You can make money on Chinese traffic it just depends on what type of traffic it is. Porn traffic you are out of luck. Nobody is paying for any type of adult related traffic in China. And I'm not going to say you are going to become rich with Chinese traffic, but we had quite a few clicks from chinese surfers.

Google, Yahoo or Microsoft can increase the value of domain over night if they choose too

The parking industry as it is right now, its crazy. They are a lot of people taking a cut of the domain revenue before it gets to the real owner.

I always wonder why companies like Google, Yahoo and Microsoft can not start a program like adsense for domains where they park domains for small guys with few good domains and cut out those so called Parking companies!

I am sure if they do that the value of domain will go up as so many people would know how much their traffic is really worth. As at the moment the money is going through a lot of hands before getting to the real owner of the domain.
And all of those people can have any cut they feel like with no questions asked.

I have been looking at some big sales of domains which end up with a parking page, and most of those big sales are bought by either people who own those parking companies or people who get their feed direct from Yahoo or Google. Why do you think those people pay millions of dollars for a domain and park it? It’s because they get the real revenue from Google or Yahoo with no-one in between to tell them how much they should be getting.
So if they pay few Mil for a domain then they know they will get it back in few years, but if a small guy pays that amount and park the domain to parking companies I am sure they will never be able to return the money in their life time with PPC

So come on Google, Yahoo and Microsoft, make some changes to this industry and DO NO EVIL
