I can tell you that parked.com is leading the field as far as forward thing combined with great templates and good ppc returns.

I swicthed a few domains to them and had major increases in revenue.

One for $33 a day to $88, Can't complain. and great service to boot.

Plenty of single page landers here. Most single word dictionary domains are.

However, the ones that benefit most from the addition of custom content, are the 2-page landers because they are shorter.

I agree, you see the extra content right away. With the 1-clicker landers, I predict most people won't scroll all the way down after realizing it's a park page...

That's where the implementation of new style landers are needed so we can ad header text to go with the footer text..
