Thumbs up Custom Parked.com Pages SHOWCASE!

Hi,

Just thought it'd be fun to share some CUSTOM MADE "websites" now that we have the Custom Content editor from Donny and Parked!
...
So, anyone proud enough of their "lander" to share with us??
...
Here is one of mine: MoneyLoan.org
...
And actually, my CTR did improve somewhat!

Thumbs up

I think one of the best ones I've seen so far is DNP's Denmark.net!

Is this the promote your own Parked.com domains thread?

Anyhow, I think that the idea to put youtube video on these pages is not good.

Acroplex - Until we added the video option I don't think I had watched a youtube video more than 10 times. But I've watched a few in the past few days. But I just did a check and out of the few hundred people that are using the video/media option, only 15 are pointing to youtube. People are getting very creative with the extra concent option though.

Oh I agree with the extra content option. But here's my reasoning about not including video: it's too distracting. IMO less people will click on anything else, when they don't have any more videos to look at and they won't click on the ad links.

That's a very good question I was debating myself Acro.
I'm currently doing some testing to see whether my CTR changes significantly.

Thanks!

I think no one will click on the ads if they get all information about fly fishing from your site.

I had same experience with adsense. Less content, more clicks

Yep, I was wondering about that. I only did a few to see if there is any noticeable difference one way or the other.

Also wondered if it would make a difference with the search engines. Maybe more traffic would more than make up for a lower CTR.

Agree with arpitgosai about too much content showing on the site.
But let´s think about search engine spiders. Would they like them?
Maybe it's a good way of getting more traffic...

No, We had a 120 gal reef tank fully stocked with live coral, but the chiller went out on us while we were in Vegas on a hot summer weekend, and nearly everything died, 3K in beautiful live coral down the drain.

I looked at allaboutflyfishing, com and had no idea you could add this much content, I'd like to hear more about the pros and cons before taking that leap.... If the SE spiders can pick it up and give a better PR as grevan says, then it would be worth doing.

I was thinking of using this custom content section to add an "Additional Resources" section, which would contain links to my key sites. By doing this, I was hoping to get some credit from the search engines for inbound links. Has anyone tried this? Do you think this would work?

I would like to see how the results go for people who have all this additional content after 1 month. Did it make more money, less money. Sometime less is better if you want to make more money.

Yes, provided that these sites sit on IP's different from the parked ones.
