Why not make 2 seperate reports using the same code base Donny? One would show only only the hostname and the other the full referrer.

cayars - That would involve a lot of work to show the referrer and the hostname on the same page. Maybe 15-20 minutes of work.

Is it possible for parked to keep all those top clicked keywords and try to rotate all other keywords that doesn't perform well with the one within a specific niche. Means... auto optimization.

Why would you auto-optimize domains? I mean the whole concept of taking a "perfect domain" and then changing it because that's what the surfers going to the domain are looking for. Isn't the whole point to force them to think one way when they may be thinking about something else.

Ok, enough joking. We have been auto-optimizing domains since 2000. It's a 12 step process for optimizing domains after the initial domain has been optimized. Some domains are optimized every few hours, some everyday, some once a month. It's all based on traffic.

Just remember that optimization is not always what you really expect sometimes. Back in 2000, the reason we set up our "Domain Magic" was because we had a domain that was getting about 1500 hits a day, and the terms we had on the landing page were just not doing anything. 1500 hits and like 50 clicks, that was horrible for the time. So after watching what people were looking for we let the system just reoptimize the domain every day. And within a week it was up to 500 clicks out of 1500 hits. But you must always be careful, since there are always clowns that go to a domain and type in sex and click out. Or go to an adult domain and type in certain non-adult terms. Let me just say that I now know the PGA legal team very well.

So David if that is what you are talking about, yeah we got one of those like auto-optimizing things.

It was all somewhat of a joke. Yes, we do have an auto-optimize system, but it is no way like the way DS does theirs. Except for the fact that it's related to domain names. Not many parking companies have an auto-optimize system, most just use the stock systems provided by Yahoo/Google.

When have people seen a decrease in confirmed daily revenue? I haven't heard anybody talking about any change in revenue lately.

The PGA thing was about 4 years, that was a long time ago in domain parking history.

Everyday, I still see a slightly decrease in confirmed revenue (when Y! confirmed their payout). But that doesn't really matter, I still have a decent payout 'At least higher than others'

Can someone tell me how Parked.com treats the forwarded traffic? Can we see this 'forwarded' info in this new report??

Example:
'Domain A' is redirected to 'Domain B', in this case, will I be able to know how many visitors are coming from 'Domain A' while I look at the report for 'Domain B'?

Any help is highly appreciated as I am currently testing a domain which has 3,000 uniques per day but not sure how to find out if there is any 'forwarded' traffic that is coming..
