Visitors number difference

I parked one of my domains at Parked.com to test it out. Before it was with namedrive.
The difference between ND and Parked is more than 2x (at ND it's more)
Any idea why?

I have also set alternative URL but nothing went there...

i believe that parked has more traffic due to it holds more domains that namedrive

The size or popularity of the parking firm has absolutey nothing to do with the traffic a parked name will get.

more times than not you will see traffic differences between any two parking companies , some have trouble eliminating certain bot and image traffic , like sedo still counts image/thumbnail traffic , which are not real visitors , all you really need to worry about is revenue , who makes you the most at the end of the day.

Some companies count hits, some count uniques, some spiders, and some 404's. So in some cases it's like comparing apples to chocolate pudding.

We count unique visitors, I don't care if the same person came to your site 100 times today, I will count it as 1 visitor. So that could be what you are seeing.

I would need to know the domain to really know more.

We count unique visitors, I don't care if the same person came to your site 100 times today, I will count it as 1 visitor. So that could be what you are seeing.

Well the clicks are also less but this also can not be the best way to compare

The number of visitors is still going down but I guess this is coming from somewhere else

If one parking place show me 100 visitors and earns me $5 per day, another show me 500 visitors and earns $3 I choose the $5 place and I do not care how many visitors they show. If they show zero visitors and still give me $5 I do not care.

Every program counts differently. Domain Sponsor is often the most conservative counting hits or visits - but they can end up paying more anyway. I like Denny's approach.
