The system seems to be working very well at this point. It accurately substitutes the replacement AdSense ads when different links are clicked on. I now have http://alcoholisms.com redirecting directly to the site on your servers and everything works as it should.

Do we need PHP installed if we want it to work in exactly this manner on our servers? When I move it to my own server I have to create sub-pages for each of the links and do some html editing to get things to work.

Also - there is a small bug that I've noticed. Every time you go back in and edit a site it changes the Google search box back to:

<input type="hidden" name="client" value="pub-1715297008005285"></input>

which gives the search income to Hi Impact Sites instead of to us. It's easy to go in and edit, but it eventually returns to that value if you are not careful.

Also, we would like to know what features you guys would want added to this tool that may help make things easier to work with, or better as well as other features that you may want added.

Sorry this seems so much like a dialog. I hope others have ideas too. I'd like to see easier portability of the sites to other servers. If we simply take the code and move it to our servers it does not work without major editing. I don't particularly mind leaving it on your servers, I'm just afraid it will accidently get deleted, etc. Having individual logins would help.

It would also be nice if the HTML blurb that we enter at the bottom can optionally be set to change along with the keywords. That way there is more relevant information on each "page" of the site, but still no clicks off the site.

I just found this 1/20/05 article:

"As this is being writtten, about 1800 Google marketing people from its offices around the world are at an internal sales conference at a secret location in San Francisco, being briefed on a completely revamped Google Adwords/Adsense program and other new features....The revamped Adwords/Adsense will provide a suite of tools that provide greater control, management and monitoring data to advertisers, to better target their sales messages."

Would it be fair to assume that this is the "something big is happening" that hasn't quite happened yet? Maybe the "google_page_url =" code is one of these new tools?

I wonder if there any sort of relationship between this and other changes in the works and the falling AdSense rates that people are noticing?

Nice catch re the Google meeting about possible changes. Let us hope they allow all honest publishers to run well targeted ads of our choice with a url referral code line.

After all, it would be to everyones benefit. If anyone absues it by using url referral codes to send for example mortgage loan ads to a dating site they can simply be booted out of adsense and their earnings not paid out.

At this time I am quite worried about implementing the URL Referral line as G told me a few different times it's absolutely not allowed according to the TOS. Of course I did not mention DCG or identify any sites doing it, and have not done it myself over this issue.

Perhaps DCG could shed some more light on this important issue?

There are no issues that I am aware of with this code.

I will be releasing soon a new version of the landing page tool that will target all of your adsense based on a keyword you enter and will not require the "google_page_url=" code.

It is almost done and will kick the crap out of version 1.

Adam, have you scrapped Adsense here? I see only AffiliateSensor ads -- I can see how that might work better for DNForum as your potential for a huge downline with this audience is huge -- just wondering?

No, I would never scrap adsense but it never made much on dnforum so pps from affiliate sensort does much better as products are very targeted.

I love adsense.

Azooza talks about seeing AffiliateSensor on the template but for some odd reason I do not see it, or even the old templates? I am wondering if I am using the wrong login url? Also asking if I have my own login and paswrd or is that still being worked on?

I have not created any sites yet using the cool template system but have duplicated the concept and design by hand using Notepad and based on some sample sites like penpals.com and witchacraft.com, templates for example. Would now like to start using the template system itself.

Do you now say we should not use the Adsense referral lines of code? Is the referral line OK with G?

Should we switch 100% to Affiliate Sensor or is it also OK to use both together on the page? Some members say that using another program plus G violates the G TOS but personally I do not think so.

aZooZa is refering to the ads being used on *this* forum, not the PPC Templates AFAIK, look at the ads on each page "Ads by AffiliateSensor"

Google's TOS, inb my opinion states you cannot use both on the saaame site.

Affiliatesensor is only good for sites that do not convert well on adsense like dnforum.

I would not use the adsense_url code, especially since the next version of the template system does not require it. Healingsites will test it today and will provide some feedback I am sure.

Since I was not actively using the template system I assumed when Azooza asked about switching to AS that he meant also as far as the template system is concerned, not only the forum pages.

With lots of content related to the actual topic based on a keyword you type in.

Azooza, give me a domain to do for you and i will run it and send you the link so you can view the sample. Include an email to send the link to please. Please also give me 1 main keyord to associate the site with.
