Ok, here is a sample of what the tool will produce without the adsense url code but with automated content based on the keyword penpals being inputted.

I am just trying to get it to now alternate through 10 articles, so a different one for every 10 keywords that we show up.

I expect that finished early next week, Monday or Tuesday.

I have now been upgraded to a Google Adsense Premium Account due to the huge traffic I put through so the benefit is instead of talking through emails to adsense-team, I now have a dedicated rep that I talk to all the time.

He has Approved this syetm for use and says it breaks no rules.

Are you referring to this line of code: "google_page_url = document.location;"

What does that do exactly, I don't seem to understand it?

Also, when you say ".....He has Approved this system for use and says it breaks no rules," are you referring to it being approved only for you and your sites due to being a Premium Publisher, or do you mean the Google rep said the exclusive members may also use the line of code?

Thanks for clarifying these couple issues. Of course, we are all worried about adding or changing the google javascript where any changes violate the TOS and are grounds for immidiate acct closure.

If it doesn't break Google TOS for me, it won't for you. We are all governed by the same TOS regardless of account levels.

Regarding the Google url issue, it helps target what ads will show up but as i have said in a few other strings, do NOT use it as you don't need it. I have forund a good workaround so it is not needed. So to summarize you will not alter any Google code. Therefore no TOS issues regarding altered code.

Right now I get the same ads for Christian PenPals and Prison PenPals.

I guess the idea is that the took creates pages with different text at the bottom, and that Adsense pulls the ads from keywords that are in the text? This is certainly a more straightforward system.

If you are using frames and want to put ads in there, then Google gives you a different code for the same. If you go to the Adsense "Ad Settings" page, there is a checkbox "Framed Pages". If you check it the code box automatically inserts google_page_url = document.location.

How this works ... Well here it is ..
In Javascript, the url of every page (or frame) can be accessed by document.location object. In fact it is document.location.href. Now if you are using frames (sort of having more than one page on the same URL), Google has no way of figuring out which frame's content should the ads be based on. So if you pass, document.location, Google figures out the content of that particular frame and then shows the relevant ads for any ad units displayed in that frame.

You don't have to use the google_page_url = document.location code if you are not using frames.

I have tried to give a really non-technical answer. Hope this helps.

I have two questions:

Could you please tell us if you make more money from penpals.com using the currently implemented templated AdSense then you used to make with Oingo or DS Premium? (how many percent more/less?)

2)
You said you have 'Premium AdSense' account with Google, which requires 20mil page views. Does getting upgraded to Premium increase your earnings at all? or the ONLY benefit is having a dedicated rep to talk to?

My questions too. What is going on with the templates? I am quite confused at this point on the current and future direction it is taking.

Not only do I see really odd adsense all over this forum on different pages (seemingly some kind of character language, something similar to an upside down capital letters UUUUUUU, possibly Chinese) having nothing to do with Asia, but I have also noticed some of DCG's other sites do NOT have any adsense at all. Hey all,

I just uploaded www.findinglove.co.uk and as you'll see, there is the following page error:

Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit in safe mode in /home/virtual/site130/fst/var/www/html/funci.php on line 5

Anyone got an idea what thats about and how i fix it?

'Safe mode' is set on/off for php in its server configuration file. Your site comes up OK anyway, but I was wondering whether Google is going to like competitive ads and very scant copy/text. You might want to consider this. I did a 'version 1' template here: www.uthai.com but I spent a lot of time making sure that I added what I thought was 'sufficient and appropriate' content.

Anyone getting any Google grief with their templates?

Excellent Adam -- looking forward to it! Need to finally 'home' a load of my domains that have the faintest chance of some type-ins etc. I'm sure when you've finalised all this it will be more lucrative than standard parking programs. Mind you, I put a load on Afternic so I know which ones are getting the traffic -- quite surprised at some of the figures. Anyway, I digress...

The new version lets you do multiple domains at once if you have domains that are on the same topic and links them all to each other.

It has many other features you will like as well.
